Betty Smith Holland went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 14, 2012.
She was born in Athens, GA on June 20, 1927. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vaughn C. Smith and Eutha Smith Bissell and a step-daughter, Gail Holland Almond. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, James R. Holland and children; Jan Gambrell (Billy), Jeff Rawls (Melanie) and Beth Saye (Chris); Step-Children Ellen Tereshinski (Wally) and Jimmy Holland (Tess). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and her sister Ann S. Huff.
Visitation will be at Lord and Stephens, WEST from 1-3pm on Monday, December 17, 2012. Funeral services to immediately follow at 3pm. The service will be conducted by Reverend Tom Lang. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Alzheimers Research or Mayo Clinic, 4500 San Pablo Road, Jacksonville, FL 32224.
Lord and Stephens, WEST, is in charge of arrangements.
