Comer - Betty Jean Hodges, 61, wife of Luther Hodges, died Tuesday, May 22, 2007, at her residence.
Born in Banks County, she was the daughter of the late Dorsey Garland and Lucile Herbert Moore. She was a member of Lexington Church of God. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Dan Ellis Moore.
Survivors in addition to her husband include, one son, Gregory Hodges, of Spring Hill, Fla.; sister, Louise Jacobs, of Milledgeville, Ga.; brother, Charles Moore, of Comer.
Funeral services will be held 11AM, Friday, May 25, 2007, at Lord & Stephens East Chapel with Rev. Frank Walker and Rev. Beth Stephens officiating. Burial will be held at Evergreen Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Scott Moore, Ricky Moore, Fredrick Moore, Randy Daniel, Richard Herring and Tim Cunningham. Visitation will be held from 7 to 9 PM, Thursday, May 24, 2007, at the funeral home.
Lord & Stephens, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
