She was the widow of William D. Haithcock. She is survived by one son, Michael Andrew Haithcock; and one grandson (pictured above with his grandmother), David Andrew Haithcock.
She was retired from Metropolitan Life Insurance Company and then employed at CDC until she returned to Oconee County in 2001. She was employed at Macy's until the time of her illness.
A private memorial service for the immediate family will be scheduled for a later time.
