Betty F. Geoghegan

Betty F. Geoghegan, 83, of Athens, died Saturday, November 7, 2015.
Born in Saltville, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Walter Robert and Virginia Henderson Frye. Mrs. Geoghegan was a retired Registered Nurse, and an avid golfer. She loved the beach, was a friend to all, and most importantly, loved her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Geoghegan.
Survivors include her daughters, Kimberley (James) Dillard and Kristy (Allen) Cruikshank; and four grandchildren, Casey, Ryan and Bret Dillard and Nicole Cruikshank.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 3:00 PM at Lord and Stephens, East with Rev. Eric Buffington officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1684 Barnett Shoals Road, Athens, GA 30605 or St. Mary's Hospice House, 1660 Jennings Mill Road, Bogart, GA 30622.
