Betty Jean Coile, 77, wife of 59 years to Knox G. Coile, died Tuesday, March 26, 2013.
Born in Colbert, GA, she was the daughter of the late Johnny B. Lindsey and NellieSmith Lindsey. She was of the Baptist Faith and a homemaker.
Survivors in addition to her husband include her daughters and son-in-laws: Wanda and Tennyson Simmons of Winterville, Wendy and Roger Gaddis of Arnoldsville; brother: Richard Lindsey of Colbert; sisters: Rachel Gooch of Laurens, SC, Rosa Mae Harper of Athens, GA; grandchildren: Brandon Coile and Julia Gaddis; great grandchildren: Amber Smith and Blake Coile.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 28, 2013 at 2PM at Lord & Stephens East Chapel with Dr. Hugh Morgan officiating. Burial will follow at Athens Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 Wednesday at the funeral home.
The family is deeply grateful for the staff of Compassionate Care Hospice for all of their assistance.
Flowers will be accepted.
