Athens - Better Tellefson Barwick, 80, of Highland Hills Retirement Home, died July 7, 2005.
Born in Montana, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Sadie Weisner Wendt. Mrs. Barwick was raised in Wisconsin and lived in Iowa, Illinois, and Georgia. In earlier years she was very active with her church, her flowers and her family. Her husbands, Donald Tellefson and William Barwick, two brothers, Wayne Wendt and Melvin Wendt and sister, Delia Pirkel, preceded her in death.
Memorial Services and burial will be Tuesday, July 12, 2005 at 11 a.m. at Rockdale Lutheran Church, Rockdale, WS.
Survivors include her sons, Terry (Carol) Tellefson of Athens, GA, and Dean (Bev) Tellefson of Aurora, CO; stepson, William Barwick of Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren, Erik Tellefson of Chicago, Ben and Sarah Tellefson of Washington, IL, Matt and Samantha Tellefson of Overland Park, KS, Amy and Nathan Katet of Aurora, CO, and Lexi Cottell of Aurora, CO; great-grandchildren, May and Lily Tellefson, and Josie Karet; and sister, Norma (Fritz) Wendt of Ft. Atkinson, WI.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Advantage Behavioral Health Systems, 250 North Avenue, Athens, GA, 30601.
