Athens - Bertha Alice Wolfe, 80, died Sunday, December 4, 2005.
Born in Carlshend, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Felix Manner. She was a former resident of Gainesville, Georgia where she was a member of First Presbyterian Church. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Athens.
She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Jack Allison Wolfe and by three daughters and their husbands: Kristin and Mike Grant of Palisade, Colorado, Trena and John Pless of Asheville, North Carolina, and Paula and Judson Guest of Athens, Georgia, a sister, Esther Laurich of Marquette, Michigan and a sister-in-law, Elfriede Manner of Skandia, Michigan. Grandchildren are Allison and husband Wynn Eggers, Erin and husband Gabe Gilliam, Elizabeth Pless, Benjamin Pless, Meredith Guest, and Caroline Guest. Great grandchildren are Jonah and Auden Eggers.
Visitation will be held at First United Methodist Church, Athens at 10:00 am until 11:00 am on Wednesday, December 7, 2005. Private graveside services will be held at Oconee Hill Cemetery.
