Bert Suggs Gipson

Nicholson, GA - Bert Suggs Gipson, 95, died September 29, 2012.
Born in Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late Robert Kimsey and Georgia Curahee Smith Suggs. She was the widow of Virgil Howard Gipson and preceded in death by her son, Robert Paul Gipson, grandson, David Lee Sprinkles and siblings, B, Vassie, Guy and Dorsey.
Mrs. Gipson was retired from Athens Regional Medical Center and was a member of Central Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Lord and Stephens Chapel, EAST with Revs. Don Fuller and John Gipson officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Gipson, Tracy Gipson, Phillip Macaceake, Hinnard Suggs, Michael Bailer, Ralph Costa and Randy Fleeman.
Survivors include her children, Annette Sprinkles of Nicholson and Kermit Melborne Gipson (Marib) of Watkinsville; grandchildren, Brenda Sprinkles Marquina (Wes), Bobby Gipson (Kate) and Lisa Gipson; great grandchildren, Casey Sprinkles and Conner Michael Gipson; nieces and nephews.
Flowers are optional. Memorials may be made c/o the family of Bert Gipson.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM
