Benny Paul Crawford Sr

Benny Paul Crawford, Sr., age 77, passed away on March 23, 2014.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Doc & Rene Bone Crawford. Benny began his career as a truck driver in 1955 after graduating high school and retired from D & D Transport. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Commerce.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Edna Alewine Crawford; children, Lindy Cain of Commerce, Bethe Kellum of Jefferson, Dale Bowles of Commerce, Shirley Porterfield of Danielsville, and Johnny Wood of Nicholson; sisters, Martha Massey and Paula Langston; brother, Dr. Jerry Crawford; ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 3PM on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Bethe Kellum officiating.
