Bennie L Wilson

Bennie L. Wilson 78 of Watkinsville passed away on October 11, 2022. She was the daughter of the late, Ben and Bessie Davis Jr. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John A. Wilson; sister, Elizabeth Ryan. Mrs. Wilson was a member of Central Baptist Church. She was retired from Winterville Retirement center as a food service director also worked at Arbor Terrace and a caretaker to many. She loved spending time in the mountains and was most happy being with family and cooking for them. She didn’t want a service, she wanted to be remembered for the good food she made and all the good times spent with her, and the helping hand that she was always ready to extend.

Survivors include daughters and a son, Terry (Clayton) Gooch, Mary Beth Wilson, and Darrel (Tammy) Wilson; six grandchildren, Amber Gooch Mack, Kevin Roxburgh, John Roxburgh, Katie Roxburgh, Johnny Wilson and Allison Wilson; two great-grandchildren, Jackson Roxburgh and Colston Roxburgh.
