Benjamin Franklin Fields Jr

Benjamin Franklin Fields Jr. age 83 of Watkinsville passed away at his home following a period of declining health. Mr. Fields was born in College Park, GA on August 31, 1927 to Benjamin and Lena Bray Fields. He worked for Norfolk Southern Railroad designing computer systems for the railway. He is preceded in death by his sister Jan Fields Powell. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Dorothy Berry Fields, Sons and Daughters In Law; Barry and Amy Fields, Mark and Sharon Fields, Grandchildren; Nicholas Davis-Fields, Megan Davis-Fields, Cullen Fields, and Brady Fields. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 P.M. on Wednesday, July 27, 2011. Funeral services to be held Thursday July 28, 2011 at 2 P.M. from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Chris Holderf officiating with burial at Oconee Memorial Park.
