Ben Tillman Sanders

Ben Tillman Sanders, 83, died March 28, 2014.
A native of Crawford, GA, he was a son of the late Walter Hughes and Lucy Hansford Sanders and was preceded in death by three brothers, William (Bill) Sanders and M. C. Sanders, both of New Bern, NC and Huey Long Sanders of Crawford.
Mr. Sanders graduated from Meson Academy, was a member of Crawford Methodist Church and was employed for many years with Central Truck Lines in Atlanta. He was a successful farmer and a skilled carpenter.
Graveside services will be Sunday, March 30, 2014 at 3:30 PM at Mt. Pleasant Apostolic Church Cemetery with Revs. Nathan Palmer officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 1:30 until 3:00 PM.
Survivors include Nell Sanders and their children, Glenn T. Sanders of Cumming, GA, W. Keith Sanders of and Rhonda Sanders (Nathan) Palmer, all of Crawford; sisters, Marvelle Brickle of Lowndesville, SC and Shirley Bone of Winterville; eleven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews.
Lord and Stephens, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
