Belva Joyce Bray

Belva Joyce Bray, age 70, died Tuesday December 18, 2012. A native of Athens, Mrs. Bray was the daughter of the late Andrew Jackson Peyton, Sr. and Mildred Epps Shelton. Mrs. Bray was the widow of the late David Vernon Bray, Sr. Mrs. Bray was preceded in death by a son, Billy Bray; brother, Andrew Jackson Peyton Jr.; and sister, Phyllis Ann Peyton.
Graveside service will be held Thursday, December 20, 2012 at 11:00am at Bray Family Cemetery. Rev. Chuck Tatum will officiate. The family will receive friends at the cemetery from 10:30-11:00am.
Survivors include children, Cynthia Bray (Daniel Kelly), Douglas Bray (Lori McCormick), Greg (Sue) Bray, and David Bray; brother, Ray Shelton; sisters, Regina (Edward) Lynn and Janice Lee Shelton; 11 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.
