Bishop - Beatrice Bullock, 89, died Thursday, May 20, 2010 at St. Mary's Hospice House.
A native of Athens, she was the daughter of the late Henry Eldridge Shelnutt, Sr. and Mary Lou Hollis Shelnutt. Beatrice retired from Macy's and was a member of Union Christian Church.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 22, 2010 at 11AM at Union Christian Church with Rev. Troy Tatum officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Survivors include two sons and daughters in law, Larry and Sandra Bullock of Brunswick, Wayne and Kay Bullock of Bishop; brother: Montgomery Shelnutt of Bishop; sisters: Elizabeth Faulkner of Athens, Mary Jo Morrison of Comer; granddaughters and their spouses: Debra and David Cherry, Karen and Dan Krebs, Katie and Nathan Speulda; and two great grandchildren: Brian Krebs and Allison Krebs.
The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Union Christian Church Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund.
Oconee Chapel Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.
