Barbara Jean (Blakely) Lumpkin

Barbara Jean Lumpkin, 88, died December 9, 2016.
A native of Athens, she was a daughter of the late Lourene Epps and Louis Emzy Blakely, and the niece of Ben Epps. She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-seven years, Benjamin Eugene Lumpkin, Jr. She was an antique dealer for many years and was a member of Prince Avenue Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School for twenty-two years.
Funeral services will be Thursday, December 15, 2016 at 1:00 PM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, WEST.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Eugene Lumpkin and Thomas Edwin Lumpkin; two grandchildren, Benjamin Lumpkin and Lindsey Lumpkin; niece, Ruth Carr.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Lord and Stephens, WEST, is in charge of arrangements.
