Athens - Barbara Christine LaCount, age 47, wife of Larry LaCount, died Thursday, November 6, 2008 at her residence.
Born in Lapeer, Mich., she was the daughter of John and Barbara Mallichek of Colbert, Ga. In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by her son, Mike LaCount of Athens, Ga.
The family will be receiving friends from 1 - 3 p.m. at Lord & Stephens East Chapel on Saturday, November 8, 2008.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Madison Oglethorpe Animal Shelter, 1888 Colbert Danielsville Road, Danielsville, GA 30633
Lord & Stephens, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
