Barbara Hammond

Barbara Hammond, 66, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2024.

A lifelong resident of Athens, she was a daughter of the late James Reaves and Berline Phillips Reaves. She was employed with Walmart for more than 20 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, PJ Finch; sisters, Mary Reaves and Linda Steele and step-son, Brian Hammond.

Survivors include her son, Jimmy Finch (Ashley); grandchildren, Sophie and Brock; niece, Christy Steele; nephew, Michael Steele; former spouse, Buddy; step-daughters, Melissa and April; brother-in-law, Clifford and sister-in-law, Shelby.

Graveside services will be private.
