Barbara Betts Haas

Barbara Betts Haas, 87, died Saturday, June 19, 2021. She was the wife of the late Dr. Clyde Merrill Haas, 85, who died in February of 2019. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Barbara was the daughter of the late Edwin Forrest and Gladys Chatterton Betts. Mrs. Haas was a registered nurse, housewife and loving mother who had a great love of God and a wonderfully optimistic, cheerful attitude her entire life.

Survivors include three children: Mark (Kay) Haas of Northport, AL, Allen (Beth) Haas of Bishop, GA and Jean (Earl) Wells of Huntsville, AL; ten grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

Interment for both Clyde and Barbara will take place on July 20, 2021 in Arlington National Cemetery.
