Barbara Anderson

Barbara Vera Anderson (Babs) passed away on Friday, March 18, 2016 at Marsh's Edge, St. Simons Island, GA where she had resided for the past 10 years. Her prior residences included: Miami, FL, Atlanta, GA, and Highlands, NC.
Babs was born July 14, 1927 in Miami, FL to Gordon M. Anderson and Margaret Jennings Anderson. In her youth, she was an accomplished equestrian. She graduated from the University of Georgia and the Atlanta Law School.
Babs is survived by two step-nieces; Susan Regenstein McMillin of Marietta, GA and Barbara Anne Regenstein of Sandy Springs, GA. Babs was preceded in death by her step-father and mother, Joseph Regenstein, Sr. and Margaret Jennings Regenstein; and three step-brothers, Joseph Regenstein, Jr., Robert Regenstein and Dick Rengenstein.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday, March 29th at 4:00 p.m. at Marsh's Edge, St. Simons Island, GA.
