Barbara L. Adams

Barbara L. Adams, 77, of Bogart, passed away on September 21, 2022. Born on March 16, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Melton Lamar Pruett and Nellie Pruett.

Barbara loved serving others. She was of Baptist faith, a member of Bethabara Baptist Church and a longtime resident of Oconee County.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Veronica Adams; grandson, Nicolas Gensinger; siblings, Rosa Barnes, Lamar Pruett.

Survivors include her husband of over 50 years, Frederick Adams; granddaughter, Nicola Gensinger; siblings, Eloise Stewart (Danny), Shirley Cheatham, Larry Pruett (June), Bonita Bates (Jimmy); great granddaughter Marlee Church; many nieces & nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Bethabara Baptist Church with Pastor Rob Bray officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 – 11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Bethabara Baptist Church or your favorite charity.
