Bailey Franklin Daniel, 94 of 2067 Cleveland Road, died October 31, 2005.
A native and lifelong resident of Clarke County, he was the son of the late Marion N. and Carrie Bailey Daniel and widower of Essie Hollis Daniel. Mr. Daniel was an avid outdoorsman and beekeeper. He was a retired finish carpenter, having worked for C.P. Shaw and Robert F. Daniel Construction Company. Mr. Daniel was a charter member of Westview Presbyterian Church and current member of Bogart United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his children, Evelyn (Donald) Hix of Winder and Robert F. (Martha) Daniel of Athens; sister, Lucille Boyd of Winder; 4 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren and 8 step great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Private burial will be at Evergreen Memorial Park.
Memorials may be made to Bogart United Methodist Church.
