Arthur Scott

Arthur Alexander Scott, Jr., 83, died June 5, 2017.
A native of Greensboro, NC, he was a son of the late Ellen Stone Scott and Arthur Alexander Scott, Sr. and was also preceded in death by two sisters, Leona Scott Finch and Norma Ellen Scott.
Mr. Scott was a veteran of the United States Army and a graduate of North Carolina State College. He was of the Presbyterian faith.
Memorial services will be Saturday, June 17, at 11 a.m. at Greenhill Cemetery, Greensboro, NC.
Survivors include two nieces, Norma (Lane) Fitzpatrick of Danielsville, Georgia and Clair (John) Butler of Greenwood, Indiana; four great nieces, Sallie Fitzpatrick, Sara F. (Tyler) Pittman, Lael Butler and Abigail (Alfred) Dowell.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Mary's Hospice House, P.O. Box 6588, Athens, GA 30604.
