Watkinsville - Arthur Lee Jacobs, 76, husband of Mildred "Lee" Jacobs, died Thursday, March 15, 2007 at Rainbow Retirement Home.
Born in Morgan County, Buckhead, Ga., he was the son on the late Arthur David and Monteen Jones Jacobs. He retired from the Georgia Department of Transportation in Morgan County. He was a member of Edwards Chapel Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Jacobs is survived by his son, Charles David Jacobs, of Watkinsville; and sister-in-law Ethel Arnold Allen, of Hull.
A memorial service will be held 3PM, Sunday, March 18, 2007 at Edwards Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Jack Segars officiating. Interment will be at a later date in the Emory University School of Medicine Section at Decatur Cemetery, Decatur, Ga.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gideon's International or Emory University School of Medicine, c/o Body Donor Program, Atlanta, GA 30322-3030.
