Arthur Wallace Brown, 87, passed away on Friday, August 23, 2024.

Born in Madison County, he was a son of the late LM Brown and Margie Ree Phillips Brown. Mr. Brown enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking and most importantly, he was an incredible father. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Elise McEwen Brown; daughter, Stephanie Yvonne Brown; brother, Donald Brown and son-in-law, Rick Dutton.

Survivors include his children, Samuel Wade Brown (Karen Kirk Brown), Teresa Dutton and Mark Brown; brother, Alton Lamar Brown; five grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Funeral services will be Sunday, August 25, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Lord and Stephens, Danielsville. Interment will follow at Jones Chapel Methodist Church. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30 until 2:00 pm. Pallbearers will be Bewis Summers, Jason Summers, Britt Summers, Tate Grizzle, Glen Howell and Kyle Brown and honorary pallbearers, Ted Grizzle, Randy Sexton, Sandy Sexton, and Kirby Murray.

Lord and Stephens, Danielsville is in charge of arrangements.
