Arloine (Arlie) Schille, 90, died June 2, 2016.
Born in Baker OR, she was the daughter of the late Mary Hyde Moore and Arthur Moore. Arlie lived in Oregon, Washington, California, Missouri and Georgia for the last 39 years. Residences in Georgia included Dunwoody, Social Circle and most recently in Athens for the past 25 years.
She is preceded by her husband of 44 years, William Schille, and survived by her children, Donna Lee Rice of Bend, OR, Dean of Duluth, Deborah Ann Lord of Flowery Branch and David of Spanish Fort, AL.
Ever the loving and supporting wife and mother she also worked tirelessly in volunteer roles at St. Joseph Catholic Church as well as other Catholic Churches she attended. She also gave her time selflessly to the Talmadge Terrace community, Scouting, Murphy Candler, and Dunwoody Senior baseball. Arlie was a founding member of "Sassiest Lassies with Hattitude" Red Hat Society in Athens. She loved to travel and was always willing to embrace new adventures.
Her children, grandchildren and friends will miss her warm smile and love for life.
Services will be held on Monday, June 6, 2016 at 1:00 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 958 Epps Bridge Parkway, Athens, GA 30606. Friends are invited to a celebration of her life to be held at Talmadge Terrace at 2:45 PM.
The family request gifts be made to St. Joseph Charities or Gentiva Hospice.
