Arlene Hardman

Arlene Hardman, 98, of Arnoldsville, passed away on December 24, 2018, less than a day away from her 99th birthday. Arlene was born on December 25, 1919, to Melvin Goss Moore and Lellie Sorrow Moore Bray. A devoted mother, Arlene enjoyed gardening and was a regular member of Arnoldsville Baptist Church when she was well enough to attend. Arlene was a sweet and caring person who will be dearly missed.

Along with her parents, Arlene was preceded in death by her husband, Ferron Hardman, and her three sisters: Lellie Ione Moore, Minnie Agnes McCannon, and Martha Elizabeth Bell. She is survived by her children, David (Martha) Hardman of Arnoldsville and Linda Hardman, also of Arnoldsville.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Friday, December 28, 2018 at Lord and Stephens, East Chapel. The family will receive friends from 12 pm to 2 pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Arnoldsville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Danny Sniff, Edward Rowan, Kenny Hefner, Walt Bailey, Matt Moore, and Rob McCormick.
