Athens, GA - Annie Mae Silvey Smith, 104, died January 25, 2009.
She was a daughter of the late S. G. and Lula Bell Bone Silvey and the widow of Charlie Albert Smith. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Vivian O. Fowler, Jerry A. Smith, Dorothy G. McCarty, Charles N. Smith, Vernard L. Smith and David D. Smith.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at 1:00 PM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, EAST. Interment will be in Whitehall Baptist Church Cemetery.
Survivors include two children, James L. Smith of Athens and Frances M. Wilson of Comer; many grandchildren; many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7:00 until 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
Lord and Stephens, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
