Annie Lou Capes

Annie Lou Holcomb Capes died at the age of 100 of February 4, 2016. She was born on March 21, 1915 in Madison County, Georgia to the late Malon Otto Holcomb and Lou Belia Hanley. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Grady Capes, her three sisters, Lorene Craft, Inez Kellum, and Belle Harris, and her brother, Hoyt Lee (Buck) Holcomb. She is survived by one son, Robert (Betty) Capes and two daughters, Jeanette Paul and Ann Graham (Bobby). She is also survived by four grandchildren, Martha Carol Reynolds, Gary Capes, Rusty Graham, and Tami Reed; six great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren. Graveside service will be held Saturday, February 6th at 2:00 P.M. at Sandy Cross Baptist Church Cemetery. Family will receive visitors after the service. Pallbearers will be: Mike Reynolds, Gary Capes, Rusty Graham, Dustin Graham, Allen Reed, Mitchell Reed, and Jason Capes. Mrs. Capes was a member of Sandy Cross Baptist Church. Donations may be made in her memory to the Sandy Cross Baptist Church Cemetery Fund - 791 Lexington Carlton Rd. Carlton GA 30627.
