Annie Bell Brooks

Mrs. Annie Bell Brooks, age 93 passed away on January 3, 2013. She was born in Comer, GA to James Cliff and Fannie Mae Patton Anthony on December 29, 1919.
Mrs. Brooks was a lifelong resident of the Athens area. She worked at Hinson Garment and was member of Forest Heights Baptist Church.
Mrs. Brooks is preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband Golden Brooks; sister Minnie Lou Tiller; brother James Alvin Anthony. She is survived by her son and daughter in law Wallace and Nancy Jordan; granddaughter and grandson in law Marie and Charles Jones; great grandchildren Connor and Grayson Jones.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, January 4, 2013 from 6 until 8 PM. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 1 PM with the Rev. Mike Purdy officiating. Interment will be held at Evergreen Memorial Park.
Lord & Stephens EAST is in charge of arrangements.
