Athens - Annie Lou Pickelsimer Bradley, 86 years old, went to be with the Lord on December 7, 2005.
She was born in Arnoldsville, GA, one of ten brothers and sisters. Annie Lou has lived at the Winterville Assisted Living facility since May 2004 and in the Athens area for the last twenty years. Previously, he family lived in Charleston and Beech Island, SC.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Carl D. Bradley. She is survived by one son, ìBudî Bradley and wife, Deanna of Lawrenceville, GA, and two daughters, Ann Bradley Martin and husband, Marty of Buford, GA, Ethel Bradley Holland and husband, Ron of Apollo Beach, FL; six grandchildren, Stacey Holland Dilley, Dwayne Holland, Darrin Bradley, Stephanie Bradley, Brad Martin, and Mary Martin Bedford; two great grandchildren, Keith and Carlyn Dilley. She was one living brother, Frank Pickelsimer of Augusta.
Funeral services will be Saturday, December 10, 2005, at 1:00 PM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, EAST. Interment will be in family plot at Colbert Cemetery, Colbert, GA. The family will receive friends Friday from 7:00 until 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
Annie Lou loved flowers, but if you would like to make a donation to the American Heart Association, she would be pleased as well.
