Crawford - Annie Sue Bell Anthony, 89, of Quiet Oaks, died Friday, July 20, 2007.
A native and lifelong resident of Oglethorpe County, she was a daughter of the late Howard and Nell Ashworth Bell, and was the widow of Ralph Anthony. She was also preceded in death by her son-in-law, Billy Pitts. She was a member of Clouds Creek Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be Sunday, July 22, 2007, at 2:00 PM at Clouds Creek Baptist Church with Revs. John Parker and Eugene Pritchett officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Pleasant Apostolic Church Cemetery.
Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Jean Pitts of Lexington, Mavis and Cleo Coile of Comer; sisters, Frances Dial of Loganville and Hazel Lewis of Marietta; grandchildren, Lynne (Stanley) Holmes and Pam (Andy) Saxon; five great grandchildren, Shalon Huff, Danielle Parsons, Chris Parsons, Constance Saxon, and Brianna Morgan.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Lord and Stephens, EAST, Athens, is in charge of arrangements.
