Watkinsville - Sara Annette Bellamy Wood, 72, passed away August 17, 2008.
Born in Homer, Ga., she was a daughter of the late Ace and Rose Bellamy and the widow of George Carlton "Stick" Wood Sr. She was a member of East Athens Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at 3 PM at East Athens Baptist Church with Revs. Ray Wuerzer, Don Fuller and Bob Nash officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park.
Survivors include three children, George C. Wood Jr. of Decatur, Ga., Janet Tabor of Stockbridge, Ga. and Olin (Vickie) Wood of Watkinsville, Ga.; three grandchildren, Brittany Wood, Jamie Wood and Morgan Wood; one great-grandchild, Caiden.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 until 9 PM at the funeral home.
Lord and Stephens, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
