Athens - Anne M. Simpson, 63, wife of Richard O. Simpson, died Saturday, February 2, 2008 at Athens Regional Medical Center.
Born in Durham, NC, she was the daughter of the late John C. and Bernice Castleberry McCampbell. Mrs. Simpson recently moved to Athens from Austin, TX . She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Athens where she was a volunteer with Inter-Faith Housing.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her daughter, Kristen C. Simpson, of Austin, TX.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 7, 2008 at 2PM at First Presbyterian Church of Athens with Dr. Glenn Doak officiating. Burial will follow at Oconee Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 to 8pm at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Athens, Haiti Medical Clinic Missions, 185 E. Hancock Ave., Athens, GA 30601.
