Anna Mae Stewart, 75, wife of James Stewart, died Sunday, May 20, 2012.
She was the daughter of the late Elmer and Iantha Lint Leasher. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, James and Albert Leasher.
In addition to her husband, survivors include her daughters: Gail Marie Cheney (Mike) Mitchell, Teresa Mary (Jeff) Waugh; sons: Terry Lee (Naomi) Cheney, Bill Wayne Cheney, James Boyd (Christine) Stewart, Jr., Thomas Kevin (Ashley) Stewart; sisters: Louella Leash Dill, Thelma Pearl Leasher McCary; 18 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, May 25, 2012 at 11AM at Lord & Stephens East Chapel with Rev. Henry Dubose officiating. Burial will follow at Athens Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 Thursday, May 24, 2012 at the funeral home.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to United Hospice of Athens, 435 Hawthorne Avenue, Athens, GA 30606.
