Winterville - Ann Harp Spidle, 69, wife of the late Henry Dean Spidle, died Thursday, May 22, 2008 at St. Mary's Hospice House after a long illness.
Born in Madison County, she was the daughter of the late Hosmer D. and Daffie Galbreath Harp. In addition to her husband and parents, one sister Carolyn Pharris preceded her in death.
Survivors include her son and daughter in law: David and Tracey Spidle of Winterville; brother: Howard Harp Sr., of Ashville, AL; grandchildren: Anna and Jacob Spidle and 10 nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be Sunday, May 25, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Athens Memory Gardens with Pastor Paul Downing and Rev. Bill Hayes officiating. Visitation will be held tonight from 6 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Flowers are optional or memorials may be made to National MS Society, PO Box 4527, New York, NY 10163.
