Ann Hill Lord

Ann Hill Lord, 84, of Bishop, died October 2, 2024.

A lifelong resident of Oconee County, she was a daughter of the late George and Lollie Maxey Hill and was preceded in death by her husband, Robert O’Neal Lord, sister, Mary Frances Brown, and brother, Merritt Hill. Ann was employed with Anaconda Wire and Cable for 34 years where she was a plant manager secretary. She was a member of Union Christian Church. 

Ann is survived by her daughter, Karen Lord Smith (Mickey) of Bishop; grandson, Ryan Smith (Hannah) of Barnesville, GA; great grandson, Duke Smith and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be Friday, October 4, 2024 at 11:00 AM, graveside at Union Christian Church Cemetery, Watkinsville with David Smith officiating. The family will receive friends at the graveside following the service. 

Memorials may be made to Union Christian Church Cemetery Fund.
