Angela Whipple Wise, 70, died Sunday, January 5, 2014.
A native of Columbus, GA, she was the daughter of the late Harry Lee Whipple, Sr. and Irene Masters Whipple. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Harry Lee Whipple, Jr. Mrs. Wise was a graduate of Columbus High School and Auburn University. She retired from Oconee County Schools after 30 years as a teacher and was a charter member of Ashford Memorial Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 43 years Richard Bruce Wise; daughter and son in law: Dr. Beth Ganga and Capt. Raymond Ganga of Smoke Rise, GA and two grandchildren; Chris White of Chicago, IL and Andy White of Smoke Rise, GA.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 11AM at Ashford Memorial Methodist Church with Rev. Lowery Welton officiating. Private burial will be held at Park Hill Cemetery, Columbus, GA.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Ashford Memorial Methodist Church.
