Andrew Cole Strickland, 17, died Wednesday, December 17, 2014.
Born in Lawrenceville, GA, he was the son of Jeff and Michelle Strickland and Anna D. Eller. He was preceded in death by his grandfather's, Doug Strickland and James Douglas Eller and uncle, Ken Strickland. He was a Junior at Madison County High School and member of Jones Chapel United Methodist Church. Andrew loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brothers and sisters: Marcus Thompson, Charlotte Thompson, Ella Kate Strickland, Jennifer Davis, Arrin Thomas and Faith Eller; grandmothers: Martha Strickland, Diana Eller and Becky Minor and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 2PM at Lord & Stephens Danielsville Chapel with Rev. Richard Huycke officiating. The family will receive friends from 3 to 8 Friday, December 19, 2014 at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Jones Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Andrew Strickland Transplant Fund, c/o Jones Chapel United Methodist Church, 5601 US Highway 29, Danielsville, GA 30633.
