Alma Holland Smith, 90, died May 7, 2006.
Born in Dodge County, she was the daughter of the late John T. and Nancy Dykes Holland. She was preceded in death by a son, William E. Smith and her husband, William R. Smith. Mrs. Smith was a longtime resident of Fort Valley, GA. After moving to Athens, she was a resident of Lanier Gardens. Mrs. Smith was of the Baptist faith.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, May 9, 2006 at 11:00 AM at Oaklawn Cemetery,
Ft. Valley.
Survivors include her son, Herbert R. Smith (Magally) of Athens; grandchildren, Kimberly Bunting (Brad) of Watkinsville and Luke Smith (Kimberly) of Athens; great-grandchildren, Harris, Ashton and Carter Smith and Lindsey, Hayes, Miles and Rowe Bunting.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 4:00 until 6:00 PM.
Lord and Stephens, WEST,is in charge of arrangements.
