Alma Jean Shelton

Alma Jean Shelton, 75, wife of the late Clarence Lee Shelton, died Saturday, January 3, 2015.
A native of Colbert, GA she was the daughter of the late Mildred Walls Ashworth; mother to the late Edward and Ronald Shelton and grandmother to the late Halee Shelton. She retired from St. Mary's EMS as a dispatcher and secretary. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church.
Survivors included her son: Mike (Joy) Shelton of Winterville; sister: Betty Warren of Watkinsville: brother: John Ashworth of Augusta, GA; grandchildren: Brenda (BJ) Shelton, Michael Shelton, Justin Elder, Naomi White and Hunter Cowart; and two great grandchildren: Brantly and Colton Cowart.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at 2PM at Lord & Stephens Danielsville Chapel with Rev. Larry Cannon officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the charity of choice.
