Danielsville - Mrs. Alma Grace Adams Neal, 87, formerly of Danielsville, GA, passed away at Cobb Memorial Hospital in Royston, GA on March 19, 2006. She suffered from Alzheimerís and had resided for several years at ìThe Gables at Cobb Villageî in Royston.
She was the daughter of the late Isaac N. and Fannie Minish of Commerce, and was the widow of Jim Neal. She was a member of Erastus Christian Church in Commerce. Mrs. Neal retired from American Family Life Assurance Co. (AFLAC), where she was frequently recognized for her achievements. She was truly dedicated to her job and her policy holders. She was also a former member of the Danielsville City Council.
Mrs. Neal is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Mitchell and Delores Adams, of Dewey Rose, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Jerry Russell, of Hull, GA; grandsons, Bruce Adams of Kingman, AZ and Rusty Russell of Fremont, CA; granddaughter, Shelley Christensen of Wickenburg, AZ; great-grandsons, Jacob and Noah Russell; great-granddaughters, Jennifer and Justine Adams, Lora and Beth Christensen; sister, Willie Williams of Danielsville, and several nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be Wednesday, March 22, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be Thursday, March 23, at 3:00 PM in the Chapel at Lord and Stephens Funeral Home, with Rev. Carl Beckham and Rev. Donald Wilson presiding. Burial will be in the Danielsville Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are Barry Adams, Rusty Russell, Donald Childs, Sammy Childs, Rev. Donald Wilson and Leon Smith.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Salvation Army or another charity of the donorís choice.
Lord and Stephens Funeral Home in Danielsville is in charge of arrangements.
