Allen G. Kidd, 84, died Saturday, March 01, 2014.
A native of Comer, he was the son of the late Boyd Allen Kidd and Lola Mae Smith Kidd. Allen was the owner of Kidd Sheet Metal and Roofing and a Farmer. He was a member of New Hope Presbyterian Church and served in US Navy during the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include his wife Dorothy T. Kidd, daughters and sons in law: Patsy and Robert McLocklin of Statham, Pam and Cliff Chambers of Comer, Paula and Keith Callaway of Comer; sister: Louise Bell of Comer; grandchildren: Jennifer Standridge, Kara Gaines, Stephanie Hill, Brooke Smith, Joshua Patat Jeremy Patat and twelve great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 3, 2014 at 3PM at Lord and Stephens Danielsville Chapel with Revs. David Strickland and William Anglin officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, March 2, 2014 from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
