Allen Jeffery "Jeff" Gearhart

Bishop, GA - Allen Jeffery "Jeff" Gearhart, 59, died peacefully May 30, 2014, with family at his side.
Born in Memphis, TN, he was a son of Robert L. Gearhart (Barbara) of Athens and Doraline Moore of Rainelle, WV. Jeff was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Gearhart.
Jeff was a graduate of Community College in South Hill, VA. He retired as an IT Engineer with Oconee County Board of Commissioners following 22 years of service. Jeff attended Grace Fellowship and was a Godly Christian man.
Kathy Gearhart, his wife of 33 years expressed what an honor it was to have him as a husband; a devoted family man, other survivors include his daughter, Michelle Gearhart; granddaughter, Brittany Baker, both of Bishop and sister, Ellen Moore McCutcheon of Rupert, WV.
A celebration and tribute to Jeff's life will be Sunday, June 1, 2014 at 3:00 PM at Grace Fellowship, 1120 Malcom Bridge Road, Bogart, GA.
The family would like for his work family from the Oconee County Board of Commissioners and Oconee County Sheriff's department to sit together in his honor.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Malcom Bridge Middle School.
