Alice L. Pickle, 86, wife of O. Wendell Pickle, died Monday, August 07, 2006 at her residence in Danielsville, GA.
Born in French Camp, Miss., she was the daughter of the late James P. and Bell Cummings Hodge. Mrs. Pickle was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers. She was of the Baptist Faith.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her daughter and son in law, Pat and John Carithers of the Neese Community, grandson and his wife, Eric and Carla Adams Carithers of Sylacauga, AL, sister in law and brother in law, Eugene and Claudia Clark of Gillsville, GA and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends tonight, August 8, 2006 from 6PM to 7:30PM at the funeral home with a memorial service held at 7:30PM at the funeral home with Rev. Martha Courie officiating.
The family has requested no flowers and that memorials be made to the charity of ones choice.
Lord & Stephens, Danielsville is in charge of arrangements.
