Alice L. Costa, age 81, of Watkinsville, Ga, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at Family Life Enrichment Center in Bishop following a period of declining health.
Mrs. Costa was born on October 29, 1929, in Sanford, Florida to Elmer and Alice Lundquist.
She retired from Flowers Inc Retail in 1999 after 32 years of dedicated service
Mrs Costa was preceded in death by her twin sister, Alva Conway; sisters Marian Edgerton,
Virginia Copeland and brother Adrian Lundquist. She is survived by her husband of 60 �' years Ralph J. Costa, Sr. of Watkinsville; daughter and son in law: Linda and Joel Murray of Watkinsville; son and daughter in law: Ralph J. Costa, Jr and Delores of Winterville; Sisters: Camilla Meyers of Sanford, Fl & Irene Dement of Tallahassee, Fl; four grandchildren: Kim Carey & Richard, Stephanie Dawson & Britt, Dina Costa and Matt Costa; three great grandchildren: Morgan Carey, Andon Dawson & Addisyn Dawson; several nieces and nephews and faithful canine companion "Chipper".
The family will be at the residence, 1101 Colliers Creek Road and will be receiving friends from 6p to 8p on Friday, October 28, 2011 at Lord & Stephens, West.
Mrs. Costa's family would like to thank the Family Life Enrichment Center in Bishop for their continued care and dedication over the last year and a half.
