Marietta - Alexander Staudt, 85, died November 25, 2010.
Born in Akron, OH, he was the son of the late Alexander and Julia Staudt. Alexander was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Marietta, GA where he was very active serving the church in different ways: serving as an usher. He served his country in the US Navy from 1943 to 1946 in Italy and the Philippines during WWII. Alexander retired from Lockeed Martin, Marietta after 35 years.
Survivors include his wife Josette Welsch Staudt; daughter and son in law: Noelle Alexandra (Tom) Broadnax of Watkinsville; four grandchildren: Cara, Peyton, Lauren and Asher.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 28, 2010 at 2PM at Oconee Chapel Funeral Directors with Rev. David Heller officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Conyers, GA. The family will receive friends Saturday, November 27, 2010 from 4 to 6 at the funeral home.
