Aleksander Wilhelm Peterson

Aleksander "Aleks" Wilhelm Peterson, 28, died on May 15th, 2015, in Athens, Georgia. The youngest son of John and Barbara Peterson, he is survived by his parents, his brothers Erik and Justin, many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Aleks was born in Durham, North Carolina on June 11, 1986. Aleks was an avid soccer player and fan who enjoyed gardening, being outdoors and learning new things. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and making people laugh.
Aleks attended Oconee County High School and graduated from the University of Georgia in 2008 with two Bachelor Degrees in Business Administration. One in Management, and another in Risk Management and Insurance. Aleks graduated from the Florida State University College of Law with a Juris Doctor Degree (J.D.) in 2013 and was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2013.
The family will receive family and friends on Thursday, May 21, 2015, from 6-8 pm at the Lord & Stephens Funeral Home,1211 Jimmy Daniel Road, Watkinsville, GA 30677.
