Albert Glenn Williams

Albert Williams, a retiree from the University of Georgia and a lifelong resident of Colbert, passed away peacefully on December 29, 2021, while surrounded by his family. He was 85.

Albert is survived by his wife of 61 years, Marjorie Williams; sons, Terry Williams, Randy Williams and Jeff (Donna) Williams; grandchildren, Josh (Kandace) Williams, Kimberly (Tommy) Morgan, Autumn (Brett) Waldroup, Brittany (Daniel) Duzan, Jorden (Kyle) Bradford, Ryan Williams and Joel (Kristina) Kessler and twenty four great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph Dewy Williams and Eunice McClain Stephens; siblings, Junior (Rella) Stephens; Ralph Williams and Robert Stephens; grandson, Tyler Williams and great-granddaughter, Skylar Duzan.

Funeral services will be Friday, December 31, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Word of Life Church in Colbert. Interment will follow in the Colbert City Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 12:00 pm at the church.
