Alan Lewis Pace, 52 of Watkinsville, GA passed away at Athens Regional Medical Center in Athens, GA on April 4, 2013. Born on November 17, 1960 in Fayetteville, GA, son of Annie Laura Pace (deceased) and Warren Alton Pace (deceased).
Attendee of Oconee County High School in Watkinsville, GA and graduate of Cedar Shoals High School in Athens, GA 1979, Mr. Pace went on to serve in the United States Air Force, and settled in Watkinsville Georgia with his surviving spouse, Amelia "Lia" Nicora Pace of Watkinsville, GA.
Mr. Pace was a beloved father and grandfather and survived by his children: Malerie Pace Arrington of Monroe, GA; James Alan Pace of Madison, GA; Blake Andrew Pace of Nicholson, GA, and four grandchildren; Angel and Abby Arrington, Kristen Pace, and Aiden Lewis Pace. Surviving siblings: Danny L. Pace of Madison, GA; Patricia Pace Coker of Watkinsville, GA; Larry A. Pace of Anderson, SC; Phyllis Pace Argo of Anderson, SC; W. Alvin Pace of Charleston, SC; and Rebecca Pace Watkins of Anderson, SC.
Viewing for Mr. Pace is held by his immediate family at Lord & Stephens West in Bogart, GA on April 9, 2013 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and funeral services will be held at Lord & Stephens West chapel in Bogart, GA on April 10, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside services will be held immediately following at Evergreen Memorial Park in Athens, GA.
