Harvest, Ala., formerly of Hull - Agnes B. Sorrow, 97, of Harvest, Ala., formerly of Hull, Ga. went to be with her Lord on October 15, 2009.
Born October 13, 1912, in Toccoa, she was a daughter of the late Elmer and Ruth Peterman Browning. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Edwin (Ed) Sorrow, who passed away in February 1991, her sister, Mildred Harris and her brothers, Horace, George, James and Talmadge Browning.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, October 19, 2009, at Lord and Stephens East Chapel with the Rev. Randy Crowe officiating. Interment will be at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Monday, October 19, 2009, at the funeral home.
Survivors include sons, William E. (Dorothy) Sorrow Jr. of Harvest, Ala., and Billy O. (Marlene) Sorrow of Rockbridge Ohio; sisters, Kathleen Kenney of Athens and Lillian Chandler of Crawffordville, Fla.; eight Grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
Lord and Stephens Funeral Home East has charge of arrangements.
